Pakistan - What kind of Muslims we are!

"Safai nisaf eman he" Cleanliness is half the faith! If we go by this definition then at the best the most poised amongst us is just half a Muslim. We need to adopt Cleanliness on the individual level to rise in faith and the world.
Am saying this because Allah had gifted us with a beautiful piece of land we call our home and we have successfully managed to litter it with heaps of garbage without any remorse.
It is time that we stop looking towards others and start mending ourselves for the betterment of our nation and completion of our "Eman" faith.

Official Gifts to US President and First Lady

According to the US State Department, US President and First Lady has been showered with gifts from foreign nations. Ironically, most expensive gifts were bestowed upon them from Muslim Nations.
This is the best example of might is right, as US is killing scores of Muslims in routine over a period of a decade and still being termed as Saints.
These rulers are showering US President and his wife with expensive gifts to stay away from the line of fire.
The fact they do not know is that showing such gestures will not keep them afloat when US finds them as a minute hurdle; as such expandable commodities (Rulers) are harvested to be used as a tissue paper and then thrown away.

Cold War and deline inOil prices

After reaching record high the oil prices are on a downward trend. It is difficult to understand the phenomenon, as the demand is surging.
There is an aspect that needs attention, that is, to corner Russia.
Though it is a far fetched idea, but, in the world where conspiracies are hatched and exposed every other day. This seems to be a plausible conclusion looking at the chain of events that have happened in the near past.
The wheel was set in motion when Russia tried to flex its muscle to safeguard its national interests.
Natural gas supply to Europe was hit in the initial phase. Then, when Russia tried to defy the tyranny of the "Champions od Democracy" during Ukrainian crises, it was slammed with sanctions and economic embargo.
Russian economy has been hit hard by the sanctions.
Now the stage was set to go for the kill, by lowering the oil prices to a limit that will make Russian economy stagnant and make it stall.
This is the test for Putin, if he will make it out on the high, then the stage is set for another Cold War. Worse part it if he does not make it out, then no one can predict the chain of events that may follow

Release of US Prisioners by North Korea

US has always said that it is not her policy to negotiate with terrorists and oppressive regimes, but, this tall claim was shattered when US sent in its top intelligence official on behalf of POTUS, to secure the release of the damned men held captive in North Korea over various alleged charges.
US of A is a mighty nation and it has all the right to be at the top, because of the hardworking middle class that work 24/ 7 to help US retain its position, the hardworking people augmented by strong judicial system and armed forces helps US maintain its position at the top.
It must be understood though that despite all its glory and charm; US has no right to meddle in other states' affairs because it herself do not follow the path it has selected for herself.
US claims to be champion of freedom of expression, but, cannot take the truth brought out by Snowden.
US wants privacy for its citizens, but is evedroping on all the people around the world.
US wants to give all the rights to its people and even animals, but, has denied the same to all the human beings in its captivity.
US wants to make its shores safe but takes no time to incriminate shores of alien/ foreign lands.
US wants to safeguard its citizens but put pressure on other nations to release wanted and known criminals of US Oregon ( Remember Raymond Davis - US contractor who killed two men in broad daylight and was flown out of Pakistan in a second).
With power comes great responsibility, it is good that US takes care of its citizens and interests, but, at the place that US enjoys; it must take care of the other less fortunate nations to ensure a balanced world system. As one sided policy of arm twisting never works, it did not worked for the Germans after WW1, not worked for the Chinese and certainly not working with the Russians.
All the best for the released captives Kenneth Bae and Matthew Miller, it will be great if they become the ambassadors of the true US dream as was dictated by the "Declaration of Independence".

Qadri Flight to US, Cnada and beyond

I am not a fan of Nawaz Shareef, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari AKA billo or Imran Khan. But still i feel that at least they are not using Islam to further their agendas.

Pakinstan a failed State???

Nations are gauged by many indicators such as
      Economic Index.
      Law & Order Situation.
      Foreign Investment.
      Poverty Index.
      Justice and Equality.
      Human Rights
The list is long but there is an addition in it and that is connectivity which has shrunk the world from global village into a global house, taking a prominent place in our lives via telephones, social media sites like facebook, twitter  etc. Sometimes, making it more necessary than food, water, shelter and civic services.
If we take this premise as correct then this importance facet also can gauge the country's progress.
Pakistan, is already affected by all the factors that are a great hindrance in the growth of any nation. But, in the global house where communication has a supreme place, cutting off this vital aspect from ones life can be deemed as a downward trend for any nation.
Alas, this factor is seriously hampered in Pakistan. During most of the important events, communications are blocked be it Muharram, National Event(s), Political gathering by "Billo Rani" or any other major political player. On daily basis we observe this aspect whenever our high and mighty rulers travel amongst their masses. Beside road blocks, deafening hooters, butcher faced guards and their fortress like vehicles, they are often accompanied by jammers which disrupt communication all around.
Keeping in view the importance of communication in our lives, sudden breakdown of this necessity takes a toll on the mental psyche of the people. Other then routine calls they cannot report a crime, cannot reach out relatives/ friends in case of emergency etc.
Mere closing down of communication network proves following
     No writ of the government.
     No or negligible intelligence coverage.
Strong nexus between LEAs and the perpetrators.
No or lack of will to curb the menace leading to the communication    shutdown.
Total ignorance towards the basic rights of the residents.
     Authoritative regimes rather then democracy.
It is just a suggestion that instead of blocking the communication tools of the masses, our leaders must instill a will to make our country a progressive industrial nation. This is the only way that will take us out of the proxy wars undertaken by our friends and foes alike. Without an honest and dedicated leadership with a clear and defined path the ship of our nation will wander directionless in the wide ocean.
